TIN Check Pakistan (PK)
In Pakistan, the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for Individuals is the called Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) issued by the National Database and Registration authority. For Entities such as Company’s or Associations of Persons (AOP) the TIN is designated as the National Tax Number (NTN).
To validate a tax identification number from Pakistan, the TIN / CNIC / NTN must be placed on top of it, which must obey the following format:
For Individuals (TIN)
The TIN / CNIC assumes the following format:
• NNNNN-NNNNNNN-N (Total of 13 digits)
N identifies that it must be a numeric digit.
For Entities (TIN)
The TIN / NTN assumes the following format:
• NNNNNNN-N (Total of 8 digits)
N identifies that it must be a numeric digit.
