TIN Check Angola (AO)

In Angola, the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN / NIF) is issued by the General Tax Administration (AGT). The TIN / NIF for citizens from Angola correspond to the Number of the National Identification Card, in case of foreign citizens the TIN / NIF is obtained from the Resident Card Number, and for others citizens is a sequential number issued by the General Tax Administration (AGT) and in case of Entities the TIN / NIF also obtained from sequential number issued by the General Tax Administration (AGT)

To validate a tax identification number from Angola , the TIN / NIF must be placed on top of it, which must obey the following format:


For Individuals

The TIN / NIF assumes the following format:
• NNNNNNNNNLLNNN (Total of 14 digits)

N identifies that it must be a numeric digit.
L identifies that it must be a letter.


For Entities

The TIN / NIF assumes the following format:
• NNNNNNNNNN (Total of 9/10 digits)

N identifies that it must be a numeric digit.
